Emmie joined Hamblin Family Law as a Senior Associate in 2026. Prior to this, she spent over six years working at a leading boutique family law firm, where she advised on all areas of family law and the consequences of relationship breakdown for married and unmarried couples.

Emmie regularly acts for high-net worth clients on complex and multi-jurisdictional cases, with her work often involving complicated corporate and trust structures. She also advises in relation to nuptial agreements. As well as her financial work, Emmie advises in relation to children arrangements, including where one parent wishes to relocate with the children. Emmie has significant experience of working on high conflict cases, including where domestic abuse allegations have been made by one of the parties and where safeguarding concerns have been raised.

Emmie takes a pragmatic and compassionate approach, and clients have commented on her warm and reassuring manner. She is a member of Resolution, which means that she is committed to taking a constructive approach to resolving family law disputes.

Emmie recognises the toll that separation can take both on individuals and their wider families, and the important role that family lawyers have in supporting their clients at what can be an enormously challenging time. She has recently completed a part-time MSc in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, with her studies focussing on the impact that early adverse experiences can have on brain development.

Emmie spent two years sitting on Resolution’s national committee for young family lawyers.
