Charlotte Lee, Partner
Upon qualification, Charlotte worked at the top-tier firm Penningtons Manches Cooper. It was at Penningtons that Charlotte gained a wealth of experience in financial and children’s matters, both domestic and overseas. In 2022, Charlotte joined Georgina at a leading London firm, working with ultra-high net worth clients. Attracted by its core values and unique place in the market (as well as the chance to work with Georgina again), Charlotte joined Hamblin Family Law in 2023.
Charlotte regularly advises on financial matters involving multiple jurisdictions, trust assets, and complex business structures. She has acted for a range of clients, including high-profile businesspeople, entrepreneurs, those in the public eye, and mothers/homemakers. Whatever their profession, Charlotte is committed to ensuring that her clients get the best outcome in the most cost-efficient way possible. In children’s matters, Charlotte has dealt with international relocations, matters involving complex psychological issues, and the full range of welfare concerns.
Away from the office, Charlotte’s time is spent caring for her young family, practising Pilates and running – including chasing the sun whenever the opportunity arises.
What Georgina says about Charlotte: Charlotte is a superhuman lawyer who is incredibly efficient and never misses a trick. I am so pleased that she has moved with me to Hamblin Family Law. We are a dream team and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to give her a flexible space within which to work her magic. In my experience, offering flexible working makes for better lawyers, who care more for their firm and their clients. Charlotte is the epitome of that and could not give more to her work, her colleagues, or to living life in general.
What the Legal Directories say about Charlotte: Legal 500 (2025) ‘Charlotte Lee is an associate who does work many years above her call level. She is hard working with a clear eye for details. Clients love her.’
Tim Carpenter, Senior Associate
Tim trained at Withers London, before moving to Withers Hong Kong, where he practiced for six years, running a wide range of finance and children cases. He then joined the equally impressive top-tier firm of Stewarts in London in September 2018, before joining Hamblin Family Law to grow the firm alongside Georgina in January 2024.
Tim specialises in all areas of family law, including financial settlement on divorce and arrangements for children after parents separate. Tim’s financial cases frequently have an international dimension, often involving trusts, inherited wealth, and family businesses. His clients have included entrepreneurs, business owners, city professionals, and their spouses/partners.
On the non-contentious side, Tim regularly advises on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and wealth protection.
Tim has a passion for tennis and rugby, and is a core part of the Family Law Tennis network.
What Georgina says about Tim: As well as being a brilliant lawyer, and someone who has lived and breathed some of the most complicated cases going through the courts in both England and Hong Kong, Tim is known as one of the most charming men in the industry. He is someone that clients immediately trust and feel at ease with. I feel very lucky that he was one of the first people to see the potential in my firm when it began, and I see him as a great example of the level of talent that the right firm values can attract.
What the Legal Directories say about Tim: Legal 500 (2025) ‘Tim Carpenter was an excellent hire. He is a fantastic lawyer who is diligent and strategic – the perfect adjutant to the general, Georgina Hamblin. Client’s really love him and that is apparent the moment you meet him. He immediately puts them ease and they trust him implicitly, knowing, rightly, that they are in the safest hands.’
‘Tim Carpenter is one to watch. He is brilliant with clients, kind and compassionate. He has a great nose for a case and a fantastic international network.’
Danielle Squires, Paralegal
Danielle joined Hamblin Family Law from Payne Hicks Beach in March 2024, where she had gained invaluable experience assisting their Head of Family Law.
Danielle is a high achiever who adores the work she does, giving the utmost enthusiasm to everything she sets her mind to. Danielle is currently completing her qualifying hours to complete her Chartered Legal Executive training, something that Hamblin Family Law is proud to support.
Outside of work, Danielle has a passion for fictional writing, baking, and Pilates, as well as travelling the world with loved ones when and wherever she can get the opportunity.
What Georgina says about Danielle: The very first conservation I had with Danielle left me in no doubt that I needed her in the firm. I feel incredibly fortunate that our paths crossed. She is endlessly efficient, charming, and has boundless energy. She has quickly become a pivotal part of the firm on whom we all rely.
Antonia Barker, Partner
Prior to joining Hamblin Family Law as a Partner in 2024, Antonia was a Partner at one of London’s leading family law firms, where she worked closely with Georgina for almost ten years.
She is individually ranked as a ‘Next Generation Partner” in the 2025 Legal 500 directory and is described as a brilliant litigator and nothing gets past her.
Antonia advises on all aspects of divorce and financial remedies, including financial provision after foreign divorces, and for unmarried parents. She has acted for a variety of high and ultra-high net worth clients to resolve the financial issues arising from their relationship breakdown.
Antonia’s financial cases usually involve complex and/or multi-jurisdictional legal and financial issues, including all manner of offshore trust and corporate structures, dynastic wealth, and both alleged and actual non-disclosure of significant assets by one party.
Every family law case is unique. Therefore, Antonia works with clients to identify their objectives and agree upon a strategic approach tailored to their needs, whether through alternative dispute resolution or by way of court proceedings where appropriate. She is always conscious of the potential costs of the process – both financial and emotional – and takes a pragmatic approach to her cases.
